Job attachment

Regardless of the hard times endured by the business industry which got many Companies shutting their doors in Namibia, the NIMT Job Attachment Department work through thick and thin to ensure every NIMT trainee gets Job Attachment placement at least once before completing their course with NIMT. The Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology has partnered with many high-ranked mining and engineering companies where it sends its trainees for their Job Attachment placement for almost six (6) every year in all three year of their training.

Job attachment is of utmost importance as it prepares and expose our trainees to the industry. Having been introduced to the working environment as part of their studies, trainees get a better understanding of their career and environment. They will then be ready for the industry after the completion of their studying. 

More over, the trainees would have gained a little experience in their respective industry by the time they graduate, which is mainly the key to today's employment requirements.
